Arizona Staycation at the Strawberry Inn

Arizona Staycation The Strawberry Inn

Last weekend my husband and I enjoyed an Arizona staycation at The Strawberry Inn. We wanted to stay fairly close to home but still far enough away that we could explore some fun places that we have never visited.

Strawberry is located just north of Payson and easily accessible from any part of Arizona! You can take the I17 and cut east through Camp Verde or use the Beeline Highway (87). We shot straight up the Beeline Highway from Shea and arrived in a little over an hour.

The Strawberry Inn was definitely easy for us to find. It is right off of the main road that runs right through this quaint town. You can’t miss the gorgeous facade, the fun windmill and the strawberry sign that greet you upon arrival.

It was so convenient when we arrived because we checked in a few days earlier online, a special code was emailed to us when our room was available, we used that code on the lock box to retrieve our key and settled right into our room.

And wow, what a room! The whole inn has been completely renovated and the rooms are no exception! I just adored the quaint cottage feel as soon as we arrived. From the striking red doors, the ceramic wood tile, white ship lap walls and the crisp-clean decor, we felt right at home!

The room is a great size for two people with the comfy queen sized bed, dresser and sitting area. Some rooms do have a small pull out couch that can accommodate a child.

So, whether you are just passing through for the night or staying awhile to enjoy the sights, the Strawberry Inn is a great place to stay! And while you’re there, be sure to enjoy the porch swings while reading a good book

Disclosure: This is a sponsored post on behalf of The Strawberry Inn. I was given a complimentary night stay in exchange for my honest opinion.

This looks so cosy I can’t even! Do all hotels in Arizona look like this? I imagine they do = proper movie like settings! x

What a cute place!! Looks like a place that I’d love to stay at. Staycations are the best — I love little getaways that get you out of home but not so far away that you’re exhausted when it’s over.

Little Hotels are so much fun. It sounds like you might be going back there again. I am in NYC so I don’t think I will get there but I want to.
