BergHOFF TrolleyBags Review

July 8, 2017 By Kara 13 Comments

Berghoff TrolleyBags

Hello Everyone, I am so excited to share this product I was able to use and review! I actually love meal planning, cooking and grocery shopping! But as a mother of 2 young children, I am always on the lookout to make grocery shopping easier and efficient as possible.

That is why I was excited to have the opportunity to review these wonderful TrolleyBags! TrolleyBags are a convenient, green, and fun way to shop!

Berghoff TrolleyBags

When I arrived at the store, I took the trolley bags out of my car, and simply set them inside the cart so they were resting around the edge of the cart. I proceeded to shop as usual, filling the cart as I went. When I had finished shopping and proceeded to check out, I opened the TrolleyBags so they slid open and filled the basket. One of my favorite parts of the TrolleyBags is that I can organize and sort the type of groceries I’m buying. Which makes unloading and putting groceries away much quicker.

If you’re like me, you probably have a decent stash of plastic grocery bags hiding somewhere in your home, and it would take me a long time to repurpose them. TrolleyBags eliminates the need for plastic grocery bags, so I am doing my part for the environment too! I am trying to be more minimalist and let go of my hoarding tendencies, and letting go of plastic bags is a great step in the right direction.

Finally, loading and unloading my car with the TrolleyBags takes at least half the time and keeps my purchases upright and not rolling around the back of the car. I typically keep an insulated shopping bag for items that need to be kept cold or frozen, and TrolleyBags helps me find and transfer those items easily.

When I arrive home, I can have my 4-year- old son help me carry groceries inside and I don’t have to worry about a busted plastic bag . This means no broken eggs or bruised fruit!

After groceries are put away, TrolleyBags roll up and velcro together and they head back to the car all ready for my next grocery run. I hope my review will make you consider getting a set of TrolleyBags for yourself, we all know anything to make grocery shopping more easy and fun is worth it!

Disclosure: Our contributor Autumns was given a free set of TrolleyBags in exchange for her honest review.

I’ve seen these bags on the Internet before and I couldn’t help thinking how clever and convenient they are. It makes it so much easier to bring groceries home from the supermarket.

It is illegal where I live for grocery stores to carry plastic bags. And if you want to use a paper bag, you have to buy it. So we have to bring out own bags. The TrooleyBag looks like it really keeps you organized. And I love that it wraps up so easily.

These look so great! We can’t get them here in Sri Lanka but I do use something similar, cloth bags instead of plastic cause that’s just so much waste! it’s so much easier to carry the groceries in the cloth bags because of the shape, mine have the same shape as these trolley bags and it’s so practical.

I’ve heard about these and know I can say that I have read about them too! I think it looks like a really great system.

Oh, I’ve seen this advertised on TV and really want one. You make it look so cool to use. I wonder if my husband would use it. He does most of the grocery shopping while he’s in town, but come Sept it’s all up to me. I used it in a heartbeat!!

Ok so I have to ask, when you put the stuff in your bags in the cart, don’t they have to pull everything out one at a time to ring it up? Does that pose to be a problem? Otherwise I think they are a fantastic idea!

That is so cool and a genius idea. It seems so help especially since my town quit plastic bags and I’m always buying the bags. Great review and thanks for sharing.

I’ve been thinking about getting these bags for some time now. I think they’re efficient and they make sorting everything easier as well. I’m shopping for a family of 6 and it’s good to have everything organized the moment you step out of the store.

These are so cool, when I lived in Cambridge, MA I had one and it helped so much when I was going to the store to get food or whatever it was. I took the T for everything and walked mostly everywhere.
