My boys were pretty excited when we had the chance to preview Big Hero 6 from Disney. They said, “finally a Disney cartoon that wasn’t just for girls!” Now I know boys enjoy the animated princess movies but Disney does a lot of those. And believe me, girls will enjoy this movie just as much as the boys!
The movie takes place in San Fransokyo where Hiro a young prodigy teams up with an inflatable robot to save the city. Along the way they add four more geniuses to their group to form Big Hero 6. By using their intelligence for robotics, they create “super hero” costumes to help them defeat the bad guy.
My boys both gave the movie two thumbs up. It was action packed and had plenty of comedy to keep everyone in the theater laughing.
Big Hero 6 is rated PG and comes out in theatre’s Friday November 7th. It’s also available in 3D. If your kids like 3D, I believe this is one movie that is worth paying a little extra to take advantage of that option.
