Fox Restaurant Concepts has done it again! Their newest brain child is…Flower Child! Think healthy fast food.
The menu boasts a variety of salads that include organic local produce. And, to each salad you can add your choice of protein – grass fed steak, all natural chicken, sustainable salmon or organic tofu.
I tried out two salads. First, the Warm Roasted Mushroom salad with the all natural chicken. It included organic spinach, charred onion, toasted pecans, port salut cheese and balsamic vinaigrette! The second salad I tried was the Fruit Stand Salad. This came with strawberries, blueberries, clementines, sprouted almond, fennel, gorgonzola, chai seed vinaigrette and I added the grass fed steak.
Everything was so fresh in the salads and they were ready in just a few minutes! So much better than a greasy burger.
I had to save room for dessert so I tried the Lemon Olive Cake and the Chocolate Cake. These little beauties were just the right size and they were gluten free!
Some of the other items on the menu include vegetable and grain plates, whole grain wraps and hot pots. Everything on the menu is clearly marked as vegetarian, vegan or gluten free.
