Let’s face it, we live in a fast paced society that uses so much technology. AT&T knows that their customers time is valuable and they need to find mobile devices that work for them and meet their technology needs.
I had the chance to stop by the newly designed AT&T store located in Paradise Valley on Tatum just south of Cactus. A new store has also just opened in Goodyear at 1330 N. Dysart road and a Tempe Marketplace location is set to open this fall.
Now, these new stores are not like any mobile device store you have ever experienced. As soon as you walk in, you will notice the difference compared to other stores – the decor, the size and even the layout.
These new stores have three unique “zones” that help the customers in their browsing and buying experience – the Connected Experience Zone, the Community Zone and the Explore Zone.
- Connected Experience Zone: This zone shows how products can be used in our everyday lives. For example – music, home security entertainment and more. Now that DIRECTV is part of the AT&T family, AT&T is inviting DIRECTV customers to take advantage of a new promotion of $500 credit per line for switching to AT&T’s wireless service. For a limited time, DIRECTV TV customers who switch their wireless lines to AT&T will receive a $300 bill credit for each line they port in when they buy a smartphone on AT&T Next for that line. Plus, customers who also trade in an eligible smartphone will get an additional trade-in credit or promotion card for $200.
- Community Zone: Customers can shop and play at the interactive “community tables.” You can try out apps, accessories and devices before you buy them. It’s a great way to narrow down what works best for your needs. You will find so many different products, including drones that are operated using your mobile device. I know my boys would have a blast with one of those!
- Explore Zone: The “explore walls” showcase a wide variety of devices and accessories from AT&T with a digital monitor explaining the features and how they work. One of the products that AT&T is now proud to carry is the GoPro. I personally own a GoPro and it is great to use under water shooting videos or even just still photography. And don’t forget all of the great accessories to go with it. They even carry a harness for dogs that you can attach the GoPro to.
The new Phoenix store will be open Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. The new Goodyear store will be open Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

GIVEAWAY: One lucky winner will an LG G Flex 2 mobile phone. I’ve been playing around with this phone for a about a week, now. I’m really impressed with the camera and the features that the camera has to offer. Who doesn’t love taking selfies? You can take a selfie by using a hand gesture, (no not THAT hand gesture) have your palm open towards the camera and then make a fist. The phone snaps a picture and you can even adjust the skin tone on your selfie. What a great feature if you didn’t want to bother with any makeup.
If you are interested in the LG G Flex 2, customers can get a LG G Pad F 8.0 tablet for 99¢ when you buy an LG G Flex 2 or LG G4 on AT&T Next. Or, if you buy an iPhone on AT&T Next, you can get an iPad mini for $149.99. More info about those deals and more are here: http://soc.att.com/1vmQV7t
