I’m sure everyone is looking for some FREE family activities that are located in the cool air conditioning! Well, I have the perfect activity that your kiddos are sure to enjoy, the Phoenix Police Museum.
The museum has a police motorcycle that you can sit on and a police car that you can hop into and pretend your chasing down the bad guy. You can also check out a mockup of an early 1900’s police station and a 1919 Ford Model T Police Car.
The museum is run by a retired lieutenant, that also happens to be a friend of my dad and one of my former softball coaches. You won’t find a nicer guy and he’s always ready to answer any questions about the exhibits.
Location:
- 17 South 2nd Avenue, North side of Jefferson between 1st Avenue and 3rd Avenue
Hours:
- Monday – Friday, 9am – 3pm
For more information you can visit the Phoenix Police Museum website.
