School has started for many and is just on the horizon for others. Many Walgreens locations have a Healthcare Clinic inside that offer back-to-school and sports physicals. These clinics have a new name and a fresh new look. And, at $39, the price for these physicals can’t be beat! This price is good until 9/30/13.

Finding a Walgreens location with a Healthcare Clinic has never been easier. You can head over to Walgreens.com or use the free app that can be loaded to your smart phone. Appointments can be made or they also take walk-ins. If you plan to walk-in be sure to check on the wait times. That can also be done on their website or by using the app. With so many Walgreens Healthcare Clinic locations, you’ll be sure to find one close by.

The Walgreens Healthcare Clinic is perfect for busy families. Many times it is hard to make an appointment with pediatricians and primary care physicians because of their hours. The Healthcare Clinic has later hours during the week and is even open Saturday and Sunday! No more pulling the kids out of school or taking the day off work to get the kiddos their physicals.

Many families have Health Savings Accounts instead of traditional health insurance. The Walgreens Healthcare Clinic is a great fit for those families. The back-to-school physicals are only $39 until 9/30/13. There are no hidden or unexpected charges. A doctors visit for a physical will cost much more than that. Even if you don’t have insurance, the rates at Walgreens Healthcare Clinic are very reasonable and affordable.  The whole experience was very quick and easy. We signed ourselves in using the touch screen kiosk and were called right back. The physical took about 20 minutes and we were on our way!
